that's fascinating! but it makes sense...in a way you could say that all of the technology a culture produces reflects who they are a society, and when it gives that technology to another culture, it hands off its own culture to them, connecting the two...its an interesting theory.
btw, if you were curious, the labyrinth is a poem about a man named Anthropos who travels through a maze that exists in his own head, trying to find his way out using a variety of methods of thinking through his actions. eventually he discovers that reality is all created by man himself, and that truth is an illusion. he ends where he began, thinking "the hedge is taller than the man" and reflecting that a bird passing by would probably think his entire predicament really ridiculous.

That's pretty nice, I should read it eventually.. like, this one comic is like 3 years old already, but I used to like this character and been planing on a comic pitch for him, so maybe I should get some inspiration from Labirynth as well!
