Yet I am a more oriented towards the retro tech which I am actually familiar about. In my illustration I featured Filaka, a soviet chiper machine. I practically went through all the documentation even the circuits to visualize what this machine was about. Built a card box dummy and started illustration from this point. I did my illustration with knowledge of the machine and I even put hidden symbols in it. Like for instance the date code which is the Model's birth date. All of this was in January 2011 and it was the best project I ever did. I am now so knowledgeable about Fialka's appearance and I wonder if one day I will suddenly find it shelved as a typewriter in a thrift store?
