An art trade is when each person suggests what they'd like the other one to draw for them. Usually their own personal characters, although in this case I would ask you for 2-3 pokemon you would like to see in my style (that I prefereably had not already drawn) and give you 2-3 to draw in return.
Although I could draw for you your little pikachu/charizard hybrid and you could draw for me my Mew/Sneasel hybrid, Fear.
Sometimes the two artists also exchange the art physically by posting it to one another. But that is not necessary.
