Comment on Second Place - Naruto by duneboo
It actually makes my heart ache to see Naruto down-- and especially because of Sakura. She's really merciless, the way she turns him down cold sometimes, but they again, she gets the same treatment from Sasuke, so I wonder if she's not emulating that. Sakura's really not a mean person at heart ^^ Or else I don't think Naruto would be so attracted to her.
She's just rarely herself.
I think if/when Sakura relaxes around Naruto, we get a better peek at the real Sakura. In the meantime, poor Naruto is just mistreated by someone he cares so deeply for.

Same here, but he still has such a strong attatchment to her after she has turned him down so many times...which is pretty much exactly like Sasuke does to Sakura. Ohhhh the drama!
I totally agree, I think theres a lot more to Sakura than we give her credit for. And she doesn't necessarily have to 'love' Naruto in that way, I just want her to acknowledge him. I feel like Sakura and Sasuke are much more fitting for each other (atleast thats what I like to think) if Sasuke would just stop being a jerk and gets over himself.
If only all the characters would do what we want! But its all in the mercy of the man in charge. ^^
