i LOVE your work! you're most certainly a talented artist can i give a little critique or advice? i adore how you painted the buck (that's what he's called, no? ) but i'm unsure if the leaves work well with him. you see, he's so realistic and soft while the leaves look cartoon-like because they have very little color and have a very black out line. my suggestion, that is if you care to put more time into this lovely piece, is perhaps to use some gauche over the leaves? paint over the leaves entirely hiding their outlines? i feel that would work in this pieces benefit for SURE!! it's such a gorgeous piece, but the effect was...diluted if you will by the inked leaves ; __ ;
