Hello AnubisGraph,

beautiful work if I look at this piece as a graphic designer.
But I have some problems concerning the message, that justice would bring peace. Maybe you can enlighten me. But as far as I know, everyone has it's own definition of justice. And here is the problem of the term "justice". As you know, there are hundreds of conflicts - armed conflicts, economic conflicts, political conflicts - and if you ask any of the parties being involved in any kind of conflict, no matter what kind of conflict, about the reason of their battle, the member of the party you are asking will start to tell you some stuff about justice. And if you go and ask his opponent, he'll tell you something about justice either.
Everybody loves, respects, adores justice, but nothing is justified. I don't want to be misunderstood, I don't write particularly about the conflict in Palestine. I am just thinking about the meaning of the word "justice" in combination with the word "peace".
The word "peace" has a clear meaning: people don't kill each other and they work and live together instaed of working against one another.
But the word "justice" is like a tool, like a screwdriver: you can turn it this way and that way. And as long peace depends on justice, you can not trust peace either.
I don't write these things to hurt you, I just want to share my ideas with other graphic artists from deviantart. It is a great opportunity to talk with someone from Syria.

I am looking forward to read your answer. :)

PEACE!

i totally see your point, but think about it this way, back at the days when slavery was legal, just because no one was killing anyone and you think its peaceful, does it make it just? of-course not, if an invading army occupy a country and they suppress the people, to a point where no one can do anything anymore, you will have peace as well, but again, dose it make it right? i hope you got what i mean, as for Justice becoming a tool, i agree with you when Justice is in the hands of Politics exactly like what is happening these days, then Justice , right and wrong, will become a tool in the hand of the strongest, to set however he see fit his demands and wishes, and that is not the Justice im talking about coz its not justice anymore its Abomination, like in school, the strong big boy bullies the week and small, i am talking about blind justice, when you steal you are thief, when you kill you are a murderer, the justice that hit you in the face to a point you cannot ignore it or deny it, according to humanity, to religions, and im talking about all religions coz all religions do say that killing and stealing is wrong regardless, this is the kind of justice im talking about, now back to the Palestinian cause, dont think about it very hard, regardless to what the western news channels want everyone to believe, its this simple, Occupied and stolen land, murdered and shattered nation, suppressed and imprisoned innocent millions of people, think of it in the terms of a 1st grader when they teach him right and wrong, what ever is stolen must be returned, you should not ake what is not yours, hitting ppl in wrong (not even mentioning killing) and so on, you will see it so clear, then, and just then, you will know how the way justice should be, we as arabs were so forgiving to a point that we are welling to forgive and forget all the monstrosities the Israelis did along 70 years, even that justice says that a thief and a killer should be punished, all we ask is to have our land back, for the Palestinians to have their country back, their land, their homes, their lives, and in any logic this is the lease we can ask for, we are not monsters or less humane than the rest of the world, we are not saying all israelis should be killed and be thrown into the sea, or to be hanged then fed to the dogs, we just want our land back, is that much to ask as Justice? without such justice we will never have peace

im sure that you do not mean to hurt anyone, and i thank you for your honesty, and im more than happy to explain coz through communicating with each others, the truth can be relieved, against the will of those who does not want you to know the truth or even talk to me.

thank you for giving me the opportunity to explain, coz usually all i get is ppl attacking me coz they dont want to think for them selves or bother to look for the truth before they prejudge us and start arguing and fighting about it, they allow their news channels to think for them, to hide the truth, to tell half the story, or even fake the facts and tell lies, and they simple believe it

Hello AnubisGraph,

thanks for your answer & sorry for my late response.

Please read the comments sent to you more carefully. :)
The definition of peace, given in my first comment implies that situations, such as slavery or occupation are not peaceful:

"...and they work and live together instead of working against one another..."

But if you don't like this definition although you haven't read it carefully, let me give you another definition of peace:
In the current world order, peace is a situation of economic conflicts. It is a situation, followed by armed conflicts (war). This means, that:
1. The situation where people work and live together instead of working against one another is an illusion as long as states & capitalism make the world go round.
2. Begging for peace is useless as long as states & capitalism make the world go round, because in their hands, peace – just like justice – is nothing but a tool.

Thanks & see you...

im sorry but im not sure i understand, can you explain more, specially after " But if you don't like this definition although ..........."

as for the 1st part of your reply, i did read it carefully and many times actually, and if you agree that "such as slavery or occupation are not peaceful" then how can you apply "...and they work and live together instead of working against one another..." to it?

the situation in Palestine is not a conflict between two countries or people, to sit at one table and talk it out, its always been Palestine and the Israeli Invaders & Occupiers of Palestine, 80 years ago none of them were in this part of the world at all, so that drops the saying the Israel got its Independence in 1948, when they started migrating to Palestine they were welcomed to live among Palestinians and AS Palestinians, but they started terrorizing the Palestinians, killing them, driving them away from their lands and homes by force, to run away for their lives (i can give you dates and numbers if you like and we are talking about tens of thousands killed, millions of run away refugees all around the world), then they claimed the land for themselves, it was never a country with no people and "they are people with no country" as they used to say when they wanted to sell this idea to the world. it was ans still, an Occupied country by an Invading Terrorist army.
i hope you got what i mean now

i look forward to hear your thoughts.
Regards
