Thanks, but the backgrounds are just toners I bought over the years. They make it quicker then struggling with the proper backgrounds for each image.
The only way to get better is to keep practicing. I've been drawing this stuff for 15 years and still learning new things with every day. So just keep at it and you'll get better over time.

yeah, well i've only been drawing for 5 yrs, and only 3 of those have included anime... i 'spose im not doing as bad as i thought.

I spent most of my life drawing and in art schools. It was after graduating that I got into this majorly. I suggest everyone go through art school before getting into this seriously. It helps a lot in the end. Colour theory and figurative studies more then anything else.
