i know this is going to sound weird, but looking at this craft a second time, it reminds me of this old game called "elefun". it's basically a little plastic elephant with a "trunk" that blows little fabric buttiflies out of it, and the object of the game is to catch them in these little butterfly nets. I used to love that! here's a video of some random kids playing it to demonstrate what i just desribed: [link]

I know that game! LOL. I have 3 kids, remember? With Phanpy's trunk raised like that, it's easy to see why you get reminded of Elefun. Really cute, fun game. 
Oh yeah, duh! Silly me, how easily i forget. Having three kids does lend itself to a rousing game of elefun!
