Well after having said with that brush 'I use this for almost everything' the last two pieces didn't use it, they used a softer sort of smeary custom brush that unfortunately I don't the origins of anymore. I use CS3, but if I remember rightly you should have most of the same settings, I think...

Hahaha, thank you for getting the time to reply. Funnily, as soon as I sent you the message I found the settings a few minutes later, but was still confused coz the brush strokes seemed different on the booster piece to when i tried. Now that you mentioned smeared brush it made more sense. I tried smeary round brush using Painter, which I liked but still prefer good all Photoshop and have been hunting to learn how to create that same effect. Thank you for the feedback and keep up the excellent work, I'm on the hunt for smeary brush
