I'm glad Irenev and Kardissa drum up any kind of emotion, they are kinda left in the dust in the story, (Especially Kardissa who is just kind of a faceless villain) Shannon is kind of a mystery in the story, or at least that's what I was going for, because if it was completely obvious to Nate that she dug him the story wouldn't really need to be told. But she was kind of indifferent at first which leaves us a little in the cold with her, or at least that's what I was attempting.
i like how Shannon is in the middle looking sad. like the patron saint of cockblocking or something. and for the record, i do like Irenev better than Kardissa. but 18-year-old me might have been the other way around.
