Thanks, you will need Rainlendar with for the Calendar and DesktopX for the Weather.

Thanks - I went and installed DesktopX and am using the inbuilt calendar...I also installed ObjectDock but can't figure out how to make a fly-out menu!

Any help from anyone greatly appreciated...

I think you will need ObjectDock Plus.

You will have to add the fly out menu yourself, just right click on the bar then Add entry then New Fly out menu.
