There are 2 things I immediatly think of when I see this star.
First thing is the Starfruit from Kingdom Hearts, but I think thats the wrong answer xD
Second thing, and I think thats the right thought I´m having, it comes from The Little Mermaid, doesn´t it?
...No, not the little Mermaid... but something in my memory recalls that pendant. It was an old story about someone who sold his voice and got this little sea star in just this spot...

While that story does sound familiar...
I was refering to the pentagram. It's a super loaded symbol, meaning anything from Satanism to the Golden Ratio. But to me it symbolizes the protective, all encompassing nature of the feminine divine.

No, but I´m familiar with Satanism, and to make a pentagram a symbol of Satan you have to turn one end of that pentagram downwards, wich ends in having to endings of it pointing up and one down.

^_^ I enjoy thinking of the world in gendered terms: Mother Earth and Father Sky. Still, it's good not to take these things too seriously.
