Once they figure out how to make a real Jurassic Park we will know
they've actually found fossilized skin on some dinos, but I doubt that helps with color identification.

I know I've heard of that too, but it really doesn't help when the skin pigment has deteriorated .
If there was a frozen one, that'd be our best bet, but the chances of that, when Dinos lived in a tropical earth, where it was humid alot of the time.
But one can only hope, right?
