Also, you heard about Dakotaraptor, right?

I have but only recently.  I saw someone make the Dromaeosaur from Walking with Dinosaurs and saw the name Dakotaraptor.

Well, here's a better image of the beastie, courtesy of Emily Willoughby: www.deviantart.com/art/Dakotar…

Also, get this; this giant dromeosaurid probably has the strongest slashing capability of any of its kind.

Even stronger than Utahraptor and almost the same size?  Impressive.  I'm liking this Dromaeosaur already.

Probably not stronger overall proportionately, but certainly faster and likely better built to slash than Utahraptor. Most dromeosaurids pinned their prey with their claws and ate it alive more than slashing it to death, but Dakotaraptor was very different. this domaeosaurid could slash and probably did use it significantly in killing prey, like what i've portrayed here: saberrex.deviantart.com/art/Da…

I've been reading that Dakotaraptor had a build more like Velociraptor. than Utahraptor not to mention being a definitive animal with feathers.  Funny thing is that it was found in Hell Creek, an area with T. rex and Triceratops but was only recent, earning it the nickname, "The Ghost of the Forest"

It probably is because larger animals seem to fossilize better than smaller ones.
