well i believe art to be more of an expression of emotion and would like to display that message as clear as possible through the use of imagination, technique, and skill. I like to think theres two types of art: industrial (done only for the money) and personal (done for the love of art)and I really frown upon those that would vomit on a canvas and call it art (literal and metaphorically)
i agree on the fact that some guys are really wrong with some so called "modern art masterpieces"
One I saw recently was one of the virgin mary created using feces, modern arts really gone off the deep end where people are just reproducing old masterpieces in "innovative" medias. Theres about a hundred different Mona Lisas and parodies of The Last Supper.
yeah it makes me mad when i see the stupid shit people call art,it's like the only thing that brings attention to the public ,so they do ugly and useless crap...there's alqo people that have a "name" whatever they do (most of the time hyper ugly)they have like cult-followers to say it's genius...

yeah generally those artist only get a shock value and then they become all too familiar with becoming obscure again. Those people and those that create an artwork so blasphmous or widely hated it gets retards thinking its a hidden message about our morals or some B.S. and it becomes widely praised.
