Actually Shadow is about 17 years old, and while Amy may be twelve in the Sonic X series, Amy is about 16 in the comics, and the 50 years Shadow was in suspended animation does not count because he did not physically age nor mentally because he was asleep for the 50 years, so no he is not 50+ years old.

and yet peeps have no problem with twilight
besides learning about someone is the fun part!
