Holy carp, Mir, I don't care if this is a photomanip, because it's plain amazing either way!!! The multi-toned skin, the smooth skin against the rough, mechanical textures........ aight. I am in awe.

About the background; the wall is actually my cellar floor, I added more depth to the cracks, color coordinated it and made it more...industrial
as for the city, it's entirely airbrushing, the buildings sprinkled with a texture I made from the background. Gotta love photoshop and its ability to turn floors into walls

Lord knows I've done that. I used to take texture maps from video games and tile them, then free transform them to appear 3D, haha.

I used that technique here. The ENTIRE background is made up of free transformed tiled textures, hahaha. It was a good result, but unfortunately cheaply fabricated. *shrugs* Thats such an old picture, anyway.
