Actually a Bolo, depending on the mark, is a powerful piece of weaponry. The 'MK I' is simply an upgunned slightly more automated variant of the M1A1 tank. By Mk III we started to see them as highly automated combat units. By Mk XXIII the Bolo started to become sentient, with the Mk IXX being immune to lasers AND projectiles thanks to it's mono-permeable anti-kinetic battlescreen (or battlescreen for short). By the Mk XXVII-XXIX series, they became literal land battleships (and the Mk XXVII-XXIX was the only time that the Bolos had three specializations at the same time).

The Mk XXXIII masses as much as a WWII battleship (32k tons), can move on land at 150km/h, fly at 300km/h (but looses most defensive and heavy combat capability), and packs three 2 meter hellbore particle fusion cannons that produces 5MT/s per blast. It also has smaller .5m hellbores producing an output of 500kt/s in a secondary array in addition to it's massive auto-mortars and howitzers and VLS deck filled with so many god damn missiles that go in the ball park of Mach 30 or more and most of them are equipped with nuclear ordinance of strategic yield (i.e. 100kt+) with numerous 14mm HV railguns firing DU cored rounds. Powered by a cold fusion plant using simple hydrogen.

In capacity, it's a threat to Imperitor Titans from WH40k. 50/50 on the match up really....

Though the Mk XXX-XXXIII were made in the insanity that was the Final War... you know the war that turned the entire ORION ARM INTO A FUNERAL PYRE OF UNIMAGINABLE MAGNITUDE. Nukes flying everywhere, entire worlds being turned to glass, that sort of thing.
