Comment on Waterfall - Punchbowl Falls by La-Vita-a-Bella
Many would say that this is not in the rule of the thirds. My eyes are trained so damn hard to obey that rule and I find it a little alien looking lol. But no two words this shot rocks

With waterfalls, it is hard to follow the rule of thirds because the falls would make the shot too "heavy" to one side. But I actually think there is some "thirds" in this one...because of the rocks and their placement. All I know is that I always wanted this shot, but there was a log in the way for years....but it finally got washed out and I got to the falls as quickly as I could so I could take this before another tree fell.
