the soft pallette is an old manga artbook trick. now is the story up but i´m not fond with the colors yet - the normal flats are looking good too.
I've just checked the pages-- I like the colors. Personally, I like better the first file, with the more muted palette, but I think both work alright!
Is the scientist guy based on Johnny Ramone? It reminded me of him.
