i like yours for being more true to star wars, but i like his too because it looks more like something that can actually happen. more conceptual i guess. i never understood how pod racers like the one you made got lift. and his/hers, (idk) looks more like a future car
it vents some of the thrust down (the pod has it's own engines for that)
