I'm not insulted at all! I had a great pleasure. Just give me the right time to write something on that walkthrough. Btw the muted colors are made through Image-adjustment-selective colors, I did not use filters.

Ah, good. I was hoping it wasn't something so simple. What I meant to ask was that, when choosing colors, I can see that you decided to use muted colors due to the storm clouds. Is the type of light source a guide you use in selecting your colors?:forgiveme:

Obviously I did. I mean, I used cold colors due to the fact that light storm has usually a blue/white base colors, this means that all the colors and the atmosphere works around this color gamma.

ah, just getting your thought process on this. Good, I am on the right thought track for deciding colors. Now, did you use only intensity of color, without the black in it in case of printing or was it just muted colors without worring about the black?

Sometimes I mutate colors taking care of the black. The question is that your chooses depends on what you think is best for the balance of the image.

Are you mutating the colors without by adjusting the color slide bar after you have selected a dark color? What color shades do you like to use with lighting energy effects like Green Lanterns energy glow, or Phoenix's firebird effect? Do you like to work light to dark or should one work dark to light to better get a feel of the intensity of the lighting effect? Sorry if this sounds clumsy. I don't know how to word that last question.

I meant that I used a tool of PS CS2 that helps to change the color and tone of a precise color, black in that case. Anyway, the best way to color is using a midtone and adding shadows and lights trying to sculpt the figure
