Oddly erotic? I think not, this piece was begging for that story to be associated with it! I was merely filling in a blank, just as I would when say seeing a beautiful girl sucking a popsicle... Hmm, ok maybe not that obvious. I'm not really making an argument here, just wasting time. 
I just realized that the giant naked man in the scene may have affected your subconscious sexual desires, leading to an overcompensating comment. Or maybe you're just a crazy exhibitionist! There are all kinds of subtexts that could be implied here!
