It will always be the same. It will. You make a fair point when you say that the politicians have learned to manipulate the educated too. There's actually no real way to escape this except by making the best out of your life , slaloming between thieves and liars.
I agree. We will always be victims of the pitfalls, but we can find ways to soften the landing.
I also believe in karma and the laws of nature. These people think that just because they live on the biggest hill and possess the lion's share of the wealth, they are immune to these laws. Knowing this is what makes me smile while enduring their rhetoric.

That's the attitude. Knowing the rulers themselves are but mere humans always served as a great relief.
