Your art is INSPIRING! Not only have I been a victim of domestic violence growing up, I have also worked years with the children in schools, girls homes, and in a women's shelter. It is extremely important that people speak up, and stand up against domesic violence. My favorite success story is one victim I started working with three years earlier, she returned to the abuser as many do, discontinued contact with her support system, but eventually the seeds of hope and truth left by friends sprouted within her and she reinitiated contact. She is now strong, getting ready to start college, and considering a career in victim advocacy.
