Looks kinda like the core has shifted out of the hydrogen burning stage and into helium, or gone all the way to iron. Actually now that I think about it it seems more like a black dwarf.

But you also said that fact was thrown out of the situation so I should stop. Nice pic though!

Even I've never heard of Black Dwarfs before, I thought brown was the dimmest :confused: if it's just s sphere of smoldering iron there's a chance it could look a little like this I suppose, would be very small though I bet :bump: but yeah, in this surreal scene it could be anything even if it dosn't exist =p

Our universe is to young for them to exist yet. But they show up after the core of a star has completely changed to iron.

We didn't discuss 'brown' stars.

Still a cool picture though. ^^
