It was super-fantastic!
No, unfortunately Fred was already long-passed when I saw them. I was stuck seeing PR try his darndest NOT to be Freddie while singing Freddie's songs. LOL!
I promised myself I would never see a concert before I saw Queen (never expecting it to happen), but then I saw they announced their tour in 2005, and I could have died. I stayed up all night refreshing Ticketmaster so I could get good seats cause with only 2 tour dates, they were selling out like mad. I ended up being the 14th person to book tickets for the show in the Meadowlands... the first Queen concert in the US in 23 years ^_^

Here's my blog about the show: [link]

Best night of my life ^_^

Aw man -- I'm sad I missed all of that, though granted it would probably have been a challenge to organise going to see them around school and whatnot. Even so, I'm so happy that they did the tour and brought the music to a whole new generation, even if Freddie could only be there in spirit.

I also gotta say, thanks for NOT being one of those 'fans' I keep seeing that pisses and moans about PR and accuses Bri and Rog of being sellouts disgracing Freddie's legacy. That really pisses me off. xD

Aww, yw. And same on "fans". I find that alot of those people neglect to consider the fact that Queen had a message and a purpose to bring with their music. The more people to be exposed to it, the better! There will never be another Freddie, but having PR is better than letting the music die altogether because fans are too stubborn to let anyone else sing!

After the first two dates, they came back and did a full US tour in '06. I didn't see them again, but my boyfriend did (before we ever met)! ^_^
