If I'm not mistaken, it's Lady Shan fighting Vin either atop keep Venture or Luthadel's wall. The mist is obscuring where exactly.

Right on! There was really only one place in the book that they fought, which was on Keep Venture.

Okay. I thought that they finished the fight on one of the outer walls because Vin tried to draw them away from Elend, but I may be wrong.
