Hate it? I was afraid to hold it so I don't ruin anything. It looks even better in real life, but I guess all drawings do.
That's a problem with pencil drawings. 
I did try to put a decent amount of fixative on though, so it could withstand the occasional touch. They do, I think all physical artworks do.

I have fixative at home, but use hairspray in college. They both seem to work just fine.
