Every pre-dawn I've experienced was at the tail-end of a frantic all-nighter or a ridiculous sleepover, and neither really allows for peaceful contemplation of the coming day. This makes me want to experience it properly.

Heh, that was usually the case with me in times gone by; I'd usually see pre-dawn after slipping away from a house party or something. That's nice and all, but actually getting up for it is a different experience entirely.
