Exactly! I liked it when He-Man was a barbarian with an attitude and not some stupid prince. I miss my figures collection now...

Why did I give them away.Finally!! someone who agrees with me on He-Man being the best when he was just a Barbarian. I loved the figures and collected them when they came out, it was just a cool scifi Barbarian story, and I was excited to hear about the cartoon, but when it came out, my jaw dropped with the opening because of that "By the Power" Prince Adam nonsense. I just didn't care for that show.
I just loved the original, and sadly so few realize that He-Man was so much cooler before that cartoon. Plus I know what you mean about the figures. I miss mine so much as well.

Yes!! you read my mind, I didn't care for the cartoon at all, while I was, and still am, a fan of the MOTU Minicomics that came with the figures, they were dark and serious, sometimes too much for kids, which was great!
My favorite series among the minicomics are those by Alfredo Alcala, who gave the characters the classic look, like that in your lil series.

I couldn't agree more. I loved those minicomics. They had that great dark fun feeling that just added to the comics. just the best. Yeah! Alfredo Alcala was the best.
