I know but there's a reason for all this...Turkey...Turkey completely destroyed us... We would be just like we were in Ancient Greece without Turkey -.-
Excuse me, but what does Turkey has to do with the fact that for decades all of your goverments have handeled your economy poorly and even falsified statistics to get cheaper loans?
It's not so easy for a country to develop a good goverment system if its general development was in an unimproved state for 400 years because of occupation.
Oh come on. You can't blame Turkey for your current economic difficulties. My country (Finland) has been independent from Russian and Swedish rule les than a 100 years and we have managed to keep our economy in good shape.
I don't 100% blame Turkey, but it ιs one of the reasons. Besides, Greece was released on 1821. Things were really messed up back then, development after 400 years was really difficult. But in 1900-1910 development was much easier. Not to mention the Greece's suffering by Germany in 1940-1944.
