Good points. On the other hand, I bet you need to be quite important to be allowed to etch the keep's saga into the walls, like explained in the novels? So perhaps only really important Sangheili make art?

Hm, that is a point. All we know is that the Sagas are chisled into the stone, but nothing about who does it. I imagine they have to be really experienced though...As I wouldn't be surprised if heads would roll if the carver made a mistake....

Exactly! Don't you just love that piece of The Cole Protocol, when the elder, Koida meets his end?

I imagine the technique might take years of perfecting. I always imagined there would be scribes or poets who gather and safeguard the keep's war poems and important texts though. What do you think about that idea?

I do know I have one keep that have an entire 'sect' (for lack of a better word), devoted to just that. I don't know how the other's do it though.

Excellent idea. Each keep's history must be mega-important to the following generations, so they might indeed have sects devoted to it.

Well, the keep in this case is quite different in many ways. Very different. Which I hope to tell a bit of in one of the Zendou story arcs.

Ooooh, now you have me really curious and interested here. Don't keep us waiting too long for this goodness, please! :D

I am trying not to. But sometimes I go into a major writing block phase for a while.
