Guy Gardner, who would have been Earth's Green Lantern instead of Hal Jordan, but Hal was nearer to the ring and so got the job. He eventually earned a ring of his own and has been a Green Lantern for many years now.
XD Ah; thanks for clearing that up. I love both DC and Marvel (I have to admit though, I may love Marvel more beause it has more super heroes that I love over there. XD They ultimatley both rule, though) comics, and I do know a lot of information (but not nearly enough as real people who actually has the damn comics) thanks to the internet, but unfortunatley the only availble comics I've ever read are from Marvel (Ultimate Spiderman + X-Men, to an extent); and the only Super hero comic book I own, is Spider Girl Issue #1. XD (The series before the Amazing Spider Girl.)
