After reading practically every comment and digging for more information, I believe I've gotten my enlightenment on the piece and can say, I now appreciate it for what it is. The message is sad, from my assumed viewpoint, but gives off a feeling of peace, or silence for the dead.

This is just a piece where you've just got to look for a while, to start to understand, and maybe dig for the desired information. This photograph is like a puzzle the viewer must take the time to solve.

Additionally, I'm sorry for your loss, you are very strong.

I tend to feature things that need time and curiosity to appreciate.. and very often i'm confronted to people who want answers and explanations right away... who are looking for either obvious images or cliché messages... yeah. I hope some of them actually change their behaviour for at least.. a couple minutes... and dig for answers. Like you did :)

cheers !

Yeh, well, I'm naturally curious and it bugs me when I have no answer. :>
