I see. That does make sense. The neko does sound like she has done this many times in her lifetime.

However, given her sense of honor, not killing a person who hasn't harmed the forest and a few other things, I wonder how she'd react to a situation where Tom is instrumental in saving her life? Like if several well-experienced hunters came in to find her and would have gotten her, had Tom not been there.
