What's the Photoshop technique?

I used to make things easy for me, blocking in colours and textures and then working with the dodge and burn tool. All neat and clean. At the moment I am trying out a more painterly style, more *free* so to say. I really PAINT all shading and use no fancy brushes (except for a special effect once). That makes the painting look a bit more alive I think and hones my skills in shading... Black skin is difficult though. I am working on a request. Another hot darkelf couple and a red curtain is all I gonna reveal.... ;)

Lol! I won't press you for more details!

You know I do a lot of of work with my animations in PS?! Are you already aware that you can animate with that program?

I know, a friend once showed me, but since I never did it again I would have to think HARD how to do it. As far as I remember, I have to open the picture in Image Ready and save each modification in a separate frame. I can set the pace of the frames too...

ImageReady!!!!!!! There hasn't been an ImageReady since....let me see....CS5....CS4....CS3.....wait, CS2!! You're using CS2! Or is it even worse than that and you're using something older?!!

I... *has a really small voice now* I use CS2... I can't afford a more up-to-date version. My new computer is not good enough anyways... I had not enough money to buy what I wanted... :(

Well, I can understand that! I never have enough money to buy what I want! How old is your computer?

The actual one? Two months. That doesn't change the fact that the screen sucks big time. At least compared to the one I had before. I was used to Lenovo Thinkpads. Those are awesome. A matte display with a high resolution, compact and sturdy. I love them. Maybe I can sell this machine and finance a proper working one... *is a bit frustrated*
