Yeah its been horendous. Im just 5 minutes from Gloucester on a hill so we have been lucky. But my inlaws are in Cheltenham and have family from the US over and they are without water so we have been taking bottles of it to them and doing their washing. Our neighbouring village lost its water last night and we have had a water tank left here in the village by the water company even though we do have water.

My other half has just rung me from work to say that he has just heard a severe weather warning for us again from about 6pm tonight 12 hours of solid heavy rain again. Those poor people along those rivers have only just had the water receed from last weekends flood and its gonna happen again.

We need those big drain gullys that they have in the US in the towns they will stop this from happening ever again.

You're in the Cotswolds area! When I was in England last spring, that's just where I went with Gill, which is one of the reasons why she sent the pics to me: the places were familiar to me from my visit. I was amazed at the water levels.

You've been through so much and I'm more than sorry that there are going to be even more storms. :( I think you're getting both your share and our share of rain: I live in Minneapolis and we're in a drought right now.

Wow Minneapolis, what on earth time is it there - surely its the middle of the night :sleepy:.

You are having a drought! It goes from one extream to another. - we dont have water cos the pumping station got flooded out with its own supply and i bet your on a water shortage too.

I think id better get up on those cotswold hills and blow the clouds back your way. :)

The time here is 2:45 A.M. I work nights and got home just about two hours ago or so. I won't sleep for a while yet, though: I'm a true night owl and always have been; I love the dark and the quiet and the time to think.

Please blow those clouds back to us! :please:
