Haha, cool idea :) Is Cephalopodomancy a real word or made up?

I've always seen the films (and actually film adaptations in general) as a kind of "moving-illustration" of the books: a chance to see the characters, settings, and a couple of your favorite scenes in animation, but no more. There will always be lots of missing scenes and forgotton characters but that's what happens with films. It will never be 100% faithful and you've just gotta learn to live with that. They add something to the overall experience of the books and the world JK created, but could NEVER replace them entirely and they're not meant to. I think people forget that sometimes. Sorry if that sounds like a rant, I'm not having a go at you personally lol, just at people who hate the films because they're not identical to the books.

Personally, I'm REALLY excited for DH, because even if there are parts that suck, it's still Harry Potter, it's still the world I love, and it wont be the end of the world because we'll always have the books :)

I'm not looking for a 100% translation, I'm looking for a coherent story and witty script :P They can make the Weasleys brunette and Dumbledore bald, as long as there's a basic faithfulness to the overall storyline... well, even without that, something that isn't just spooky(tm) or magic(tm) without any inherent logic and makes sense in itself. Which the HP films just don't. Certain scenes or designs individually are fine, they just don't add up.

Eh, I'm still going to see DH, and probably more than once. Just so I know all the details to complain about, y'know... ;)

Actually, that was one thing that DID really bug me about the films, is that Harry ended up with brown hair and blue eyes when he should have had black hair and green eyes. I know he was alergic to the contacts they gave him but seriously, in this age of digital special effects how hard would it be to change his eye colour? And honestly, how much does a bottle of black hairdye cost?!?

haha me too. I actually saw the last one so many times that I can say almost all the lines from memory ;)

:) I think the tidiness of his hair annoyed me more than any colour ;)
