Sorry for the late reply, I've been away on (sort of) holidays.
Don't worry, I use a pointless needle. :D

but still, that much technical work on a piece must've killed the joints in your fingers

Crochet and cross-stitching are the two activities that sooth me the most, though considering I don't actually get to spend much time on them it hardly ever gets hard on the joints. Crochet's a lot worse than cross-stitching actually, I do on occasion get a few cramps while crocheting but don't remember it happening while stitching.

I can spend all day working on something to the point that my fingers lock up and my tools have to be pried from my fingers lol

Ouch! I'd love to be like that, have that sort of passion, but I'm afraid I give up easily if my fingers begin to hurt.

I have workaholic tendencies, once I get started on something, I don't stop til it's done ^^;

Workaholic... something that could never be said about me... Procrastination isn't just my middle name, it's also the first, the last and an overall great friend of mine... can never get her to leave me! Damn!

I can go days, weeks, or months w/o doing anything creative then inspiration strikes and I tear thru my craft box lol
