I think they put on new pantographs and a new Hauptschalter because of some regulations. The original ones were red, that is correct.
ok, so, basically if they should be red or gray depends on the epoch of the layout?

if so, I need gray once, the layout is in epoch V (now) but with some older trains as museum trains, those do need to confirm to current regulations though.

As far as I know, pantographs of the 103 were always red, they probably used some others for this. I've seen some 111s with one red and one grey panto, so it's not really following any rules I think.
ok, good, then I don't have to repaint them :P


hm, come to think of it, I do need one extra, one of them is broken....
