kekeke... good one... yeah they are both pretty good.. I did a side by side comparison with my 5D and my D7oo and I am afraid the Niokn won out (for me) due to its ability to meter absolutley spot on... I have to say tho that I am going to send the 5D bacl to Canon for them to look at.. IMHO it couldn't meter its way out of a wet paper bag to coin a phrase...
I've never used the D700 so I can't compare, but I've had absolutely zero problems with metering. I'm usually using the histogram too which helps as well.
