Absolutely right! people are just people, there are no good and bad, we can all do horrific evil and wonderful acts of kindness, it is a choice. religion does not make people bad, people who willingly become bad, through upbringing or situation maybe, then turn religion into violence. 
Couldn't have said it better myself, buddy. 
Yeah, that is why I'm writing 13 comic series to help promote peace...without hitting it over your head like a sledgehammer, mind you.
