I use Acid Pro mostly, along with Soundforge and Soundbooth for the mastering and such. The original version of Deep Space was actually made in Ableton Live, when I was testing it out.
I don't really like the released Gaia version of Deep Space b/c my collaborator added more onto my second version, which is what I actually submitted to the Gaia site. Deep Space V2 has my original mix > Jim Hughes's additions > a little more of my samples. I love this version so much too!
Dah well, I won't be collaborating again anytime soon.
