Congrats on this DD! Your manipulation of oil is fabulous as always. I loveloveLOVE the bold red line. I definitely felt "mild political undertones" in the sense of "Yeah, politics. Ass."
But compositionally speaking, this piece kicks ass. It's like a dystopian city/factory cradled in it's own filth is somehow comforting and distorted all together. The drastic red tape in a sense is the red tape of society and the blood of it's denizens.
Ultimately, it's beautiful, urban and I want to see more from you.
