You can open the textures in Photoshop and edit them, then afterwards, you can load them back onto the 3d-model.

ooh, sounds interesting. Do I have to save them as the same name that they were, or as a different one?

^^; sry if you do not have the time to explain this.

no problem. Best save a different name, otherwise you lose the original.
You can load it under the SURFACES tab (if you're using Daz Studio)

I use Daz Studio 3, so that would be where I work. ^^ now to just find the surfaces tab in order to work with the textures that I would want to use. :D

llama badge for you for helping me in being able to use different textures! :D:D:D

In Daz Studio:
- click: View - Tabs - Surfaces
- you will see all off the surfaces in your scene, grouped per object
- in the surface tab, click on the surface you want to edit
- click on the Advanced tab underneath
- Under Diffuse/color you wil see a color and the name of a surface, for example if you click on v4's head, you wil see: V4SmplTorsoM_BKN
- click this
- then click Browse
- this will open a Windows Explorer window with the contents of the directory with all off V4's textures
- you can rightclick any texture and choose Open with... Photoshop (or any graphic program.

After editing, you can best save the edited texture in the same directory with a different name.

Now back in Daz studio go back to the surface tab
- click on V4's head again
- click on V4SmplTorsoM_BKN
- click browse
- now choose the new texture

that's it.

If there is any other great wisdom that I might be able to partake from you on textures of skin, clothes, or of morphing, I would love to learn. ^_^ Would you like some points for aiding me in such a way that it has changed the ability of how I will render things closer to my own style? :D

No need for points... my advice is absolutely free :-)
I wouldn't call it great wisdom, but have you seen my tutorials:

ah. ^^ I have seen the photorealistic skin tutorial. ^^ I don't have daz studio advanced cause of the inability of being able to pay for it though, so I will attempt to seek out other ways of making an excellent look. ^^ always fun to experiment. :D but thank you very much for the tutorial links. :icondragonglomp:
