Oh Blu-Tack is brilliant for graphite. I use it instead of a kneaded eraser. Because it's tacky you just need to touch the graphite for it to lift off the paper, whereas a kneaded eraser you more often than not need to drag it or rub it, that disturbs the areas around too, Blu-Tack doesn't do that, so you get nice crisp highlights
