I used to miss mine as well (i've had 3), but then I got a Miata (2 actually) and never looked back. :]~

Aww! so you telling me that you went MAZDA!!! Grrr!!! lol well they are not bad cars, just was never a big Mazda fan. I like how easy the MR2's are to fix. ('-_-) only if you're in the right state.

Yeah, I never thought I'd go mazda either until I got one as a daily driver (when my 2nd MKI broke down for the 100th time). It was a Protege5. I test drove a Miata while having my oil changed and never looked back. They are cheap, fun, and extremely easy to find parts for (mo matter what state you're in.).

I'm not knocking the MR2 man, I love em. I just love my miata more :)

As a matter of fact, search for "rickman" on mr2oc.com to see how much MR2 stuff I do.

Sweet! you do work a lot with mr2's still, i like that. and also see you are a freelancer correct? But on the mr2 wise i do understand what you mean about it breaking down im not even understand mine at all, i love it to death but the problems just seem to be to much for me. the last i did and stop working on it was when i starting it idling and when i push on the gas it dies.
i checked and changed almost everything and still same prob... so im thinking of selling it or a friend wants to try to fix it. but im not sure if i wanna deal with it any more.

I run a graphic design company (www.spazchicken.com). It's my full time job :) if you can call it that. I used to do a LOT more car stuff, but most of what I do now is business to business (logos, business cards, ads, signs, banners, decals, hats, shirts... etc.).

That's exactly why I stopped messing with my MR2s, they constantly broke down. Where as my current '91 miata has been running for two years with no repairs at all other than standard maintenance stuff.

Sweet deal!!! on both the business and the miata.

now you making me want to check them out because my mr2 has broken my wallet it no joke and had it for 2yrs but drove it for 8 months lol.

I had studied Web design but never really finished, im always in and out of insperation spent more time with the car then anything, so im trying to get back into it... that why i cam to this site see what i see which now is turning me to photography so now im loking forward to the as a side project.
