Maybe the number 6 because the 4 and 5 CLR was broken during the race. Only the 6 didn't have an accident, I think.

Not sure, but I've seen cars that you wouldn't be able to recognize restored, so they could have been rebuilt. I'll never forget Dalmas' flip in the Porsche GT1 at the Petit Le Mans in Road Atlanta the year before; they repaired it, but then again it was a Porsche. :-)

Oh yes good new. I don't know the Petit Le Mans in Atlanta. is it the place where there is the Le Mans series race ? is it the same thing ?

The Petit Le Mans is 1,000 miles or 10 hours, whichever is achieved first; the American Le Mans series, or ALMS (see: [link]), uses essentially the same rules as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and races at several famous North American tracks including Road Atlanta, Road America, Mosport and Lime Rock.

It used to be that if you won the Petit Le Mans you were automatically invited to the 24 Hours race, but apparently that's no longer the case.

Ok thanks for this information Martin ;-)
