Firsty, I want to confess, I haven't watched this show yet, though I'm planning to do it in February, during the break between terms. A friend of mine encourages me strongly to watch it... because of Ian, or rather the character he plays. She told me he makes this series worth to watch... so you girls can relate, I see
Actually, I saw a few minutes of two or three episodes, only minutes ['cause it's is emited when I usually go to sleep 
], but I love the fact Damon is such a... bitch 
His smirks... me loves. I had a lot of laugh, comparing Stephan who seems not to have any face expressions [like a Greek statue] and multifaced Damon 
Also, I started to love Ian after I saw LOST, I was very sad when he died. I try to continue watching LOST, but it got too much creepy and complicated. The only reason why I still watch it, is my habit that I don't want to give up on movies/series which I started, I always want to watch it to the last episode. And Sawyer. He's too sexy not to stare at him tee hee 
And Ian and his eyes!!! Oh my, we both have a thing for big blue eyes, don't we?
Sorry for the crappy monolouge. I'm done now. Can't wait to comment the finished piece I can see above. Shading is awesome, and you caught his smirk perfectly!
Aren't I right, or you chaged a bit your style of drawing? I mean, I see less details and more "speed drawing" technique. Is this your new goal, to speed up?

... Hmm, me likey ! I don't have a favourite eye colour, I have a thing for eyes in general (and eyebrows! I LOOOOVE eyebrows ). Ian has a real intense stare - I don't know if I could look him in the eyes if he was standing right in front of me . Oh, I'm sorry to tell you that I'm not going to finish this drawing. I've already signed it and wrote the date on it, so I'm not touching it again. I kinda like the unfinished look, so it doesn't bother me that it's actually not finished.
Your friend is totally right! I wouldn't watch the series if it weren't for Damon! All the others don't really appeal to me. Plus I'm not the vampire-y kind of girl, but Damon makes the show watchable. Yes, I noticed that as well; Stefan doesn't have ANY facial expression, your comparison to a greek statue hits the mark!
I can't really remember; did Ian's character in LOST get killed? Hmm, it's such a long time ago, I can't recall how it happened. Or maybe I'm repressing the memory. And yesssssss, Sawyer wasn't bad either .
Hehe, you noticed right. I did change my style a bit. I guess that's just because I didn't have a lot of time to draw and I REALLY wanted to draw something, so I did a couple of quick ones. It has always been my goal to get faster at drawing but have the same amount of details as before - unfortunately I'm not there yet. But now I know that I can do a quick drawing and like the outcome (I was kind of afraid of that, that I didn't like it in the end), so maybe I'll do a couple more of those. I'm still planing on doing "real" drawings again, I kinda have my eyes set on Tim Roth, you know, the guy from the tv series "Lie to me". I definitely have to draw him one day!!!

I noticed you're very keen on eyebrows and agree Ian has a very intense gaze. It's because he has bright eyes and dark eyelashes which intensify this feeling of an intense stare.

Unlike you, I like vampire stories, but Ann Rice-like. Team Edward doesn't interest me at all For me, vampires should be scary, noble and incredibly intelligent. Lestat, Louis... Modern vampires can be cool too, unless they sparkle
Ian died by accident. He was in that old plane which fell down and poor guy got seriously injured and died after Jack as a doctor couldn't help him. I disliked his death so much. Couldn't stand it... :/ Sawyer still is hot as hell. As far I am informed, he won't die, so I'm happy
